The Callisto brand was founded in 2012, together with the opening of the salon located in the center of Helsinki. The founder of the brand, Alina Pikarevska, an esteemed professional in the field of hairdressing art, set out to create an appealing brand for those who always want to look their best — following the latest trends and even standing out from the crowd. After all, image is an essential part of every modern person's life. A key aspect in shaping the brand was accessibility — achieved through a balance between technology and technique, giving clients more opportunities for self-expression and for enhancing their personal and professional image. Some time later, Svetlana Kiljunen, a distinguished hairdressing expert, joined the brand. Together with Alina, they gave a strong push to Callisto's development through participation in international projects and continuous training with top European masters. Over time, the brand became recognizable not only in Finland but also abroad. Alina and Svetlana went on to organize the international championship Open Hair Cup Finland, bringing together top judges and outstanding participants from more than 12 countries around the world. Today, Svetlana and Alina have opened a large salon in the rapidly developing Kalasatama district of Helsinki, simultaneously launching a workspace for training young stylists and those who wish to improve their professional skills. Callisto is a modern, progressive brand led by world-class masters and European and World Championship winners — Alina Pikarevska and Svetlana Kiljunen.
